Wow, satu kata yang terlintas setelah mendengar single Muse yang terbaru ini, Brilliant!. Yap,trio yang digawangi oleh Matthew Bellamy, Christopher Wolstenholme dan Dominic Howard ini kembali meluncurkan album "The Resistance" pada tanggal 14 September 2009 dan seminggu sebelumnya mereka mengeluarkan single pertama mereka "Uprising".
Sebenarnya yang akan maju jadi single pertama adalah "United States Of Eurasia" tetapi setelah banyak pertimbangan akhirnya single ini yang dijagokan jadi single pertama. Talking about the music, Muse amat sangat berbeda di single ini yah barangkali kesan pertama yang ditangkap setelah mendengar single ini adalah musik mereka sekarang amat berat tapi setelah didengarkan terus secara berulang-ulang single ini terasa enak di kuping dan sing a long. Lagu ini temanya mengarah ke sebuah konspirasi. Rumus lagu ini adalah:
