Mass congregation has been rife in Kuala Lumpur lately with the impending General Elections happening soon. Whilst the state readies itself for chaotic weeks of rallies anytime before June this year, the party people of Kuala Lumpur and the region has set its sight on probably the most happening two days in the region’s 2013 calendar.
The capital city of Malaysia will be enveloped in A State of Trance, come 15th March 2013 as 40,000 party dwellers are expected to take over the F1 circuit of Sepang as a blockbuster line-up of DJs will take centre stage.
‘A State of Trance’ headlined by the mastermind, Armin Van Buuren himself will also see 5 other DJs including duo Cosmic Gate, Ben Gold helm the decks at the circuit to get the hearts racing & the weekend pulsating to a rolling start.
If ‘A State of Trance’ isn’t enough reason to head to the Sepang track, then the ‘Future Music Festival Asia’ should have you rushing to book your tickets faster than Marty McFly can say “Back to the Future”.
Get ready to dash from one stage to another as The Prodigy will set fire at the Warriors Dance Arena stage with the likes of Feed Me, Kill the Noise, Zeds Dead & Borgore. On the other stage, get ready to sing your hearts out to “We Are Young” as Fun is set to warm the tracks up together with Bloc Party, Rita Ora, Rudimental and more. To set the disposition even sweeter, Temper Trap will make their first appearance in Malaysia.
Our own Jakarta bred DJ, Angger Dimas is set to share stage together with hip hop legends Naughty by Nature and De La Soul. Lastly, if you haven’t known the dance moves to Gangnam Style yet, saddle up and start prancing around because PSY will make a special appearance at the festival.
