Kita hanya dapat membayangkan bagaimana cepatnya waktu berlalu. Ternyata sudah berselang lebih dari sepuluh tahun cowok-cowok 98 Degrees menghilang dari industri rekaman. Dan kini, mereka melakukan reuni dan memberi nyawa baru dalam sound yang mereka tampilkan: pop. Bagi Drew Lachey, salah satu pentolan boyband (or should I say manband) ini, menyajikan pop ke dalam menu utama musik mereka adalah tantangan tersendiri. Mereka dikenal dengan gejolak black music; R&B dan soul di antara galaksi grup vokal cowok yang mengabdi pada ciri pop. Menyisakan chorus sebagai bagian yang paling edgy dari semua. Tata vokal falsetto menciptakan harmonisasi yang tidak biasa. Sementara pembagian porsi solo yang tampak tak berubah sama sekali. Dan mereka menyajikannya dengan gaya, hingga pada akhirnya kita tak lagi berpandangan porno pada 'Microphone'-nya 98 Degrees ini.
