Band Rock Alter Bridge asal Orlando, Florida yang terbentuk tahun 2004 dengan formasi Myles Kennedy (vocal & gitar), Mark Tremonti (gitar & backing vocal), Brian Marshall (bass), dan Scott Phillips (drum) ini akan menggelar konsernya di Mata Elang Indoor Stadium, Jakarta tgl 8 Maret Mendatang. Promotor 7Kings Entertainment memberi kesempatan kepada kami untuk melakukan interview dengan sang vokalis, Myles Kennedy. Simak interviewnya berikut ini:
What is the most greatest thing that you have achieved in your career and is there anything else that you wanted to achieve next?
That is a tough one. I have been very fortunate to have recorded and/or played with some of the best musicians in the world. To try and pin that down to one event is very difficult.
What songs that described you the most or the songs that genuinely fit you.
Blackbird is a song that I am very proud of. I don’t know if I would say that it describes me. A lot of the songs that I have been a part of writing are about life and not necessarily about me. I tend to look at the world around me and comment on it. I am sure if I thought about it, I could probably find more autobiographical material during the Mayfield Four part of my career.
Tell one thing you've experienced with the fans (whether it was good or bad or even ridiculous)
Something we have experience a lot in the last few years is that people tend to tattoo our song lyrics on their body. When I see that it blows my mind…in a good way. We are very touched that something we are a part of creating resonates with someone enough to inscribe it on their body for the rest of their life.
Have you ever surfed the net just to find out about what people mostly think about your band?
Never. I don’t think that is healthy. It’s just a need to satiate the human ego.
