Pengangan tangan di jalan, ciuman di lantai dansa, semuanya cuma angan-angan karena bermasalah di status hubungannya. Lagu ngenes itu berjudul 'Secret Love Song', single ketiga dari album ketiga LM yang berjudul "Get Weird". Ini merupakan balada pertama yang mereka kuak dari album tersebut, setelah sebelumnya berlagak dancy dengan 'Black Magic' dan 'Love Me Like You'.
Kesan dramatis yang terekam oleh jejak kata per kata, kalimat per kalimat, hingga baris per baris di bagian lirik lagu ini disokong penuh oleh musik balada yang mengiringinya. Dimulai dengan senyap oleh akapella Jesy dan Jade, lagu bangkit dari setingkat dari dramatis, menjadi melodramatis. Iring-iringan musik yang akhirnya membentuk R&B sebagai pengaruh pekat di segi musiknya ini hadir berkat kolaborasi apik antara dua dunia; LM dan Jason. Versi LM sendiri yang juga tersedia dalam album terdengar lebih menyayat karena hanya diiringi oleh piano. Segala gemerlap beat R&B yang sebelumnya terjadi menghilang.
Sudut lain yang sangat menonjol dari single ini adalah ia merupakan arena olimpiade vokal oleh keempat anggota LM. Masing-masing mendapat bagian yang terpisah, tak menyisakan satu titik pun untuk diolah secara bersama. Kehadiran Jason yang justru membuat lagu ini ada interaksi di segi vokal, saat masing-masing Jesy, Jade, Leigh-Anne dan Perrie beradu dengan vokalis pria asal Amerika tersebut. Jika ini adalah sebuah kompetisi, maka pemenangnya adalah Jesy yang membumbungkan vokalnya untuk menohok nada tinggi di bagian bridge. Sementara di urusan emosional, kelima vokalis ini menyajikan kegetiran dalam porsi pas, sesuai dengan tuntutan lagu. It's a winning moment for LM!
