Raih 4 Piala, Beyonce Pimpin Soul Train Awards 2016

Beyonce Knowles sukses mendominasi Soul Train Awards pada Minggu, 27 November. Sang diva R&B membawa pulang total 4 buah piala, termasuk Song of the Year dan Video of the Year untuk 'Formation', serta Album of the Year untuk "Lemonade".

Queen Bey yang mendapatkan 8 nominasi tahun ini juga mendapatkan gelar untuk Best R&B/Soul Female Artist. Ia mendapatkan piala penghargaanya setelah mengalahkan rekan sesama penyanyi terkenal lainnya, seperti Alicia Keys, Fantasia Barrino, Jill Scott dan Rihanna.

Pemenang lainnya adalah Kanye West. Sang rapper yang saat ini tengah dirawat karena depersi dan paranoia menenangkan Best Dance Performance, berkat single 'Fade' yang menampilkan Teyana Taylor. Sedangkan Best New Artist jatuh kepada Chance the Rapper. Ia menyingkirkan para pesaingnya, seperti Anderson .Paak, Andra Day, Bryson Tiller, Ro James dan Tory Lanez.
