Para nominee untuk CMT Music Awards 2017 telah diumumkan. Dan hasilnya, Keith Urban dan Kelsea Ballerini meraih nominasi terbanyak dengan masing-masing mendapatkan tempat di 4 kategori. Begitu pula dengan Thomas Rhett. Sementara itu sang diva country, Carrie Underwood, mendapatkan 3 nominasi.
Para superstar country tersebut akan bersaing dalam mengincar gelar untuk Video of the Year. Bersama dengan Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley dan Little Big Town, Urban, Ballerini, Rhett dan Underwood, merupakan calon-calon kuat untuk membawa pulang piala tahun ini.
Sementara itu, Pink, Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor, Alicia Keys, Jason Derulo, Jill Scott dan John Mellencamp juga mendapatkan sebuah nominasi, berkat kolaborasi mereka dengan musisi country.
