Single of The Day: Lifehouse – Halfway Gone

Lifehouse kembali lagi dengan rilisan baru yang akan menjadi single pembuka bagi album kelimanya. Single pertama tersebut berjudul ‘Halfway Gone’. Kali ini lagu yang mereka hadirkan memiliki bagian refrain dan hook yang mudah diingat dan memiliki kekuatan lewat karakter vokal Jason Wade yang terasa sangat pas dipadu dengan musik pop rock yang mereka tawarkan. Bagian teriakan “Oh ho” yang langsung dimunculkan di awal lagu juga menjadi sesuatu yang menarik kita untuk terus mengingat bagian tersebut dan dengan mudah ikut menyanyikannya. Band yang pernah meraih Hot 100 Single of the Year pada chart Billboard di tahun 2001 ini akan merilis album kelima mereka yang diberi titel “Smoke and Mirrors”.
