“Bulletproof” single kedua dari duo ini berhasil menempati posisi 1 UK single chart. Sangat mengesankan karena single ini diciptakan dan diproduseri oleh mereka sendiri, yakni Elly Jackson sang vokalis dan Ben Langmaid. Dengan beat elektro yang unik, mengingatkan dengan duo Pet Shop Boys.
“Bulletproof” sendiri menceritakan tentang masalah sehari-hari, mengenai apa yang ingin kau lakukan, dan apa yang ingin kau inginkan, “I’m not to not to love until it’s cheap, been there, done that, messed around, I’m having fun don’t put me down,I’ll never let you sweep me off my feet” benar benar lirik yang sangat menarik. Musik yang dance elektro klasik ini mengambil era musik tahun 80’an dan terdengar unik, tidak kelihatan tua.... malah membuat bersemangat. Tidak salah kalau duo La Roux ini akan mendapat tempat baru di pecinta musik dunia, terutama penggemar music dance elektronik klasik ini.
