Nama band mereka juga ga jauh2 dari judul album tahun 2003 Evanescence yang berjudul Fallen. Meskipun originalnya ngambil nama The Fallen, akhirnya mereka harus sedikit rela memanjangkan menjadi We Are The Fallen karena kenyataan udah ada band yang eksis dengan nama sama.
Take your time dulu sedikit untuk mendengarkan Bury Me Alive. Boleh jadi musisi yang ada di single ini ga beda, tapi vokal Carly Smithson kita jadikan spotlight. Lagu rock berdurasi 4 menit 4 detik ini menawarkan gothic aura dengan vokal nyaris melengking.
Awalnya lagu ini dibagi2kan secara gratis untuk 100.000 orang pertama di sistus resmi mereka wearethefallen.com, selanjutnya karena antusiasme yang luar biasa, mereka juga memasang lagu ini di halaman MySpace-nya.
