Meskipun sudah 'strukk' di versi originalnya, gue makin 'STRUKK' lagi di versi baru (or remix) dari singlenya 3OH!3 ini. Andai gue bisa mengganti judul lagunya, gue PASTI ganti jadi StarstruXXX. Hahaha, terkesan nakal 'bitchy' tapi emang itu yang gue rasa.
3OH!3 emang jenius banget ngajak Katy Perry di single "Starstrukk". Why? Aura seksi dari lirik yang frontal, "Push it baby, push it baby out of control I got my gun ****** tight and I'm ready to blow", ditambah suara Katy Perry yang 'nakal' abis, bikin lagu ini bisa mencapai klimaksnya.
Belum lagi musik yang beda dengan versi originalnya, bikin lagu ini makin 'panas' dan makin kerasa 3OH!3 nya. Lebih banyak 'scratching' nya, (and I LOVE IT), lebih ngeremix, dan lebih semangat. Versi barunya ini juga ditambahin interlude yang diisi ama Katy Perry.. Sedikit nggantung sih dan 'gak jelas', karena bagian ini rada anti-klimaks. Tapi, again-and-again, reff yang super catchy dari kolaborasi binal ini, bisa bikin 'on' lagi.. "L-O-V-E's just another word I never learned to pronounce", that's my favorite part!
