Landon Pigg adalah musisi asal Nashville, Tennesse. Meski besar di daerah dimana musik country lebih berakar, LP mengembangkan gaya musiknya sendiri yang lebih ngepop, dengan sentuhan soft rock. LP sendiri dimulai dikenal namanya saat salah satu karyanya dimuat sebagai soundtrack serial terkenal ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.
Selain untuk ‘Grey's Anatomy’, lagu karyanya juga dipakai untuk menghiasi serial terkenal lainnya ‘One Tree Hill’. LP menjadikan David Mead dan Rufus Wainwright sebagai sumber inspirasinya untuk melodi musiknya. Sementara Radiohead menginspirasinya untuk menuangkan emosi ke dalam lagu-lagunya. Di sisi lain The Beatles dan Les Zeppelin membuatnya berpikir untuk menciptakan musik yang punya kekuatan kupinggenic, cepat akrab di telinga dan mudah dicerna.
Kali ini untuk album ketiganya ‘The Boy Who Never’, LP merilis debut singlenya yang berjudul ‘Falling In Love At A Coffe Shop’. Sebuah lagu yang easy listening. Sedikit mengingatkan pada gaya Kings Of Convenience atau Jack Johnson. Diawali dengan iringan gitar, banjo dan piano yang berpadu dengan manis sebagai intro.Berlanjut dengan suara lembut LP yang membuai, mengisi lagu yang lembut dan manis ini. Vokal LP yang lembut juga terasa bertenaga saat mencapai nada-nada tinggi pada bagian reffreinnya. Lagu ini sedikit bergaya lullaby, mungkin membosankan bagi yang terbiasa dengan pop yang upbeat. Tapi tembang ini cocok untuk didengarkan berdua bersama pasangan menghabiskan malam yang romantis. Coba perhatikan liriknya yang manis.
