Penyanyi R&B yang ngetop dengan hits single 'Run It' dan 'Kiss Kiss' serta sempat membuat kehebohan dengan insiden pemukulan terhadap Rihanna ini akan segera merilis album ke-3nya yang berjudul 'Graffiti' pada tanggal 8 Desember 2009. Setelah merelease single pertama yang berjudul 'I Can Transform Ya' dan berhasil peak di posisi 23 US Billboard Chart, Chris Brown kembali merelease single ke-2 yang berjudul 'Crawl' pada tanggal 13 November 2009. Single ini ditulis oleh Chris Brown dan dibantu oleh Nasri, A. Messinger, dan L. James serta diproduseri oleh The Messengers.
Pada single keduanya ini Chris Brown kembali membawakan sebuah lagu dengan tipe Ballad R&B atau bisa juga disebut Pop R&B,tidak seperti single pertamanya yang sangat upbeat dengan suasana electro yang kental serta terkesan sedikit Rock. Menurut saya lagu ini mempunyai lyric yang sangat bagus dan reff yang sangat catchy. Perhatikan lyric pada bagian verse ini "Everybody sees it's you/ I'm the one that lost the view/Everybody says we're through/ I hope you haven't said it, too", serta lyric pada bagian reffnya "If we crawl/Till we can walk again/Then we'll run/Until we're strong enough to jump/Then we'll fly/Until there is no end/So lets crawl, crawl, crawl/Back to love, Yeah".
Saya rasa pasti kebanyakan orang akan setuju bahwa Chris Brown menulis lagu ini untuk Rihanna dan berharap untuk bisa menjadi kekasih Rihanna karena sayapun merasa seperti itu.Video Clip untuk lagu ini sudah direlease dan disutradarai oleh Joseph Kahn yang sudah pernah bekerja sama dengan Chris Brown dalam video clip "Forever' dan 'I Can Transform Ya". Video clip ini menampilkan penyanyi R&B Cassie (yang saya rasa untuk merepresentasikan Rihanna). Dalam video clip ini Chris Brown kembali mempertontonkan kebolehannya dalam Dance pada bagian akhir lagu yang walaupun terlihat keren namun menurut saya ada bagian yang agak kurang cocok dengan lagunya. Overall,untuk lagu dan video clipnya saya rasa cukup bagus dan semoga bisa kembali mengangkat nama Chris Brown.
