Sebenarnya agak sayang kenapa single ini tidak terpilih jadi lead single album kedua Leona Lewis "Echo". "I Got You" punya segalanya.. dari segi musik dan lirik. Karena single ini ditulis oleh Max Martin, Savan Kotecha dan juga Arnthor Birgisson yang sekaligus jadi produser.
Single ini sudah direlease sejak 8 Des lalu, dan Music Videonya disutradarai oleh Dave Meyers yang sudah syuting sejak 21 Des di pantai Venice, California. Sebenarnya, gak ada yang salah dengan single ini.. dengan lirik mudah dicerna, beat yang asik apalagi dengan cirikhas Max Martin. Tapi bisa jadi karena sekarang udah beda 'musim' dimana electro dan dance music yang sedang merajalela seperti Lady GaGa, Ke$ha sehingga membuat nama Leona Lewis agak sedikit redup. Tapi kita berharap aja, semoga single dan juga album ini bisa mengangkat kembali nama Leona karena single ini juga berjaya di Chart2 Radio di Indonesia dan Chart CreativeDisc minggu ini!
