Gak seru sepertinya film akbar dan wajib tonton di akhir tahun 2009 lalu, "Avatar" ini tanpa didukung Soundtrack yang seru! Adalah James Horner yang kali ini dipercaya lagi untuk ketiga kalinya oleh sutradara sekaligus produser film ini, James Cameron (Setelah Aliens dan Titanic).
"I See You" merupakan satu2nya musik soundtrack dengan lyrical vocal yang diisi oleh Leona Lewis dan ditulis sendiri oleh James Horner beserta Simon Franglen dan Thaddis Harrell. Dibawah rilisan Warner Music, soundtrack Avatar ini juga melibatkan Wanda Bryant, seorang ethnomusicologist yang bikin kultur musik warga Na'Vi (Alien yang ada di planet Pandora di film Avatar ini). Music Videonya yg dibesut oleh Jake Nava juga sudah premiere tgl 15 Des lalu di MySpace.
Sebenarnya, gak ada yang salah ama single ini... lagunya bagus, kompisisi balladnya juga oke, ditambah dengan sedikit iringan koor dgn bahasa Na'Vi di pertengahan lagu. Tapi ntah kenapa, single ini gak bisa bicara banyak di Chart2, mungkin bisa jadi karena balutan kisah romantisme di film Avatar tidak sedramatis di Titanic. Meskipun begitu, "I See You" di nominasikan di Golden Globe yg ke-67 sebagai Best Original Song, begitu juga Score musikcnya yang dinominasikan sebagai Best Original Score.
