Lemme tell you apa yang membuat 'If I Had You' terdengar menonjol dibanding track lain di album "For Your Entertainment" milik Adam Lambert. Jawaban singkatnya adalah lagu ini memiliki musik dasar rock yang glamor dipadupadankan dengan electropop dan dancepop sehingga menjadi tune yang sangat pas untuk dijadikan musik latar di kala kita bersenang-senang. Ini tergambar sangat baik dalam paparan video klip arahan sutradara Bryan Barber. Selidik punya selidik, di video ini tampil juga sahabat Adam dari jaman Idol, Allison Iraheta lho.
