Setelah single-single yang luar biasa dikeluarkan dari album "The E.N.D", kelanjutannya adalah sesuatu yang dianggap menyimbolkan perembangan, permulaan, dan pandangan baru. Itu semua akan dituangkan dalam album "The Beginning" dengan jadwal rilis akhir Nopember ini. Sebagai single andalannya, The Black Eyed Peas meracik irama futuristik sekaligus tampilan yang tidak sederhana dalam sebuah lagu berjudul 'The Time (Dirty Bit)'. Adalah ide will.i.am melakukan mix'n'match konsep yang dia punya dengan satu hit klasik dari film "Dirty Dancing" yaitu 'I've Had The Time Of My Life' sebagai bagian hook yang tak terlupakan dari lagu ini.
Dance techno beat adalah andalan mereka. Sejak keberhasilan menyajikan hit untuk clubbing, mereka semakin percaya diri menunjukkan kemampuan tersebut dalam karya-karyanya. Hasilnya? Aku rasa itu juga tujuan The Black Eyed Peas kala mengerjakan single ini. Dan tiba saatnya untuk berpesta, itulah saatnya memutar 'The Time (Dirty Bit)' dengan volume yang enggak tanggung-tanggung!!!!
