Sering kali kita kesusahan untuk mencari kata-kata dalam mengungkapkan sebuah makna. Enggak jarang akhirnya si lawan bicara justru menangkap arti lain dari perkataan kita. Maka dari itu, Joe Jonas coba bawa kelugasan lewat single 'Just In Love'. Dirinya memberitahu kita bahwa sesingkat ucapan "Girl, I'm just in love with you" bisa memberi satu pengertian, tanpa banyak basa-basi, tanpa ada ambiguitas. Saat si cewek merasa ragu atas hubungan tersebut, di saat itulah Joe meyakinkan dengan repetisi mantra "girl I'm just in love with you".
Selain nilai to the point-nya, single kedua dari debut solo album Joe "Fastlife" ini juga disajikan dengan cara yang catchy. Musiknya yang dinamis, dance-pop hasil karya Joe bareng LaShawn Daniels dan James Fauntleroy II, nama yang karyanya akrab di telinga, dinyanyikan oleh artis di antara Brandy dan Usher. Dari sini juga sedikit percikan urban R&B vibe didapat.
Untuk pribadi Joe sendiri, langkah yang diambilnya lewat 'Just In Love' ini juga untuk melepaskan kesan remaja, masa-masa dimana dirinya dikenal luas sebagai seorang artis, menuju masa dewasa. Meskipun itu melibatkan sedikit banyak tentang sex. Gambaran itu tampak dalam video klip arahan sutradara Jaci Judelson. Joe bersama sang kekasih, yang diperankan oleh seorang model asal Perancis, Angele, tampak sangat nyaman memerankan keintiman antara keduanya. Tayangan video klip ini jujur sangat menggoda, seperti sebuah film pendek. Good job, Joe.
