Album baru The All American Rejects pantas dimasukkan dalam list the most anticipated album 2012. Album terakhir yang mereka rilis “When the World Comes Down” tahun 2008, sayangnya tidak memberi efek yang se-masif “Move Along” album sebelumnya yang rilis tahun 2005. “Move Along” adalah album paling luar biasa diantara album-album AAR. Masih ingat lagu-lagu fenomenal seperti “It Ends Tonight”, “Night Drive, “Straightjacket Feeling”, dan yang paling masif “Dirty Little Secret”? Yep, semua lagu-lagu itu terangkum dalam album “Move Along”. “Gives You Hell” yang menjadi one and only hit single album “When the World Comes Down” sayangnya tidak bisa se-luar biasa “Dirty Little Secret”. Its been that long AAR made us waiting for their upcoming mindblow song Dirty Little Secret look alike.
Ketika pertama mendengarkan “Someday’s Gone” we’ll know that AAR still got it. Musikalitas AAR dari album self-titled tahun 2003 hingga album baru ini nanti dipastikan akan tetap sama. “Beekeeper’s Daughter” memiliki kesan lebih fun dibanding “Someday’s Gone”. Poppy song dengan tetap ada efek rock and roll serta solo gitar. Single ini akan membuat AAR tetap bertahan di genre mainstream and return them on heavy rotation of Top 40 Radio.“Beekeeper’s Daughter” juga memuat unsur orkestra di bagian bridge. Hal yang belum pernah dilakukan AAR di lagu-lagu album terdahulu. Pertanda baik jika AAR mampu meramu unsur ini sehingga tercipta lagu yang bagus. Untuk “Beekeeper’s Daughter” unsur orkestra cukup match dan memberi kesan mewah pada single ini. Dari liriknya, “Beekeeper’s Daughter” bercerita tentang seorang lelaki yang merasa memiliki segalanya, bisa pergi kemana saja dan kapan saja dia suka, tapi dia tetap memiliki wanita-wanita yang terus akan menunggunya. He’s total asshole. Another reckless-themed AAR song, right. Ritter (vox) merasa kadang-kadang dia persis seperti laki-laki itu. Hmm, jadi ini pengalaman pribadi yaa
“Someday’s Gone” dan “Beekeeper’s Daughter” cukup membuat fans semakin penasaran dan semakin tidak sabar menunggu rilisnya album “Kids in the Street”. Yaa kita tunggu saja bulan Maret yaa :D.
