Barangkali bagian reffrain dari lagu Blow Me (One Last Kiss) milik Pink ini hanyalah manifestasi dari serapah yang dibuat oleh seorang perempuan tentang komitmen. Dimana laki-laki menjadi bimbang dan takut dengan frase tersebut. Bisa saja ukuran tahun dijadikan landasan pacaran, putus nyambung dengan percintaan, tapi komitmen untuk hubungan yang lebih? Belum tentu semua orang siap.
Mimpi buruk yang dirubah menjadi sebuah ironi ketegasan oleh Pink. Siapa bilang perempuan tidak bisa mengambil keputusan? Tentu saja hal ini berlaku untuk dua sisi, tapi melihat Pink yang bernyanyi, seperti menyatakan suara perempuan kebanyakan. Dia berani mengambil resikonya, untuk apa memperjuangkan sesuatu yang sia-sia? I think I've finally had enough, .I think I maybe think too much.
Barisan ketegasan inilah yang terdengar dari awal track sampai bagian akhir. Bagaikan sebuah anthem yang menyatakan bahwa hubungan yang berakhir is just another shit day. Apakah frase ini pantas dijadikan lirik lagu? Hey, ini Pink! The badass chick. Mendengarkan keseluruhan tempo Blow Me menarik saya ke era Fun House yang memiliki nafas dan spirit yang sama.
Dalam durasi 3. 31 menit kita bisa memastikan bahwa track ini memang tipikal Pink yang classic. Dengan hook yang mudah dicerna, reffrain yang sing a long dan penuh kekuatan. Apa yang membuat track ini menjadi lebih renyah? Tentu saja sample lagu Modest Mouse, “Float On” yang berjaya ditahun 2006. Silahkan simak bagian sebelum reffrain ketika peak lagu ini mencapai nada tertinggi dan vokal Pink berubah menjadi sedikit falsetto. Way to go madam!
Sejak album kedua, Pink sudah mencirikan bahwa garis tegas dalam liriknya memang selalu bercerita tentang emansipasi perempuan. Kali ini bertandem dengan sang produser, Greg Kurstin. Siapa Greg Kurstin? Dia merupakan personel dari band The Bird and The Bee serta familiar dengan musik Lily Allen dan Kelly Clarkson. Another woman anthem. Pink tampil mendominasi departemen lirik dan bercerita tentang hubungan yang telah selesai.
Walaupun di track ini nama Linda Perry, rekan dan sahabatnya tidak tercantum, tetapi videonya masih ditangani oleh Dave Meyers. Sutradara yang telah menangani kurang lebih 30 video klip Pink. Tampil dengan balutan hitam putih dan bersuasana Prancis, video ini perlahan berubah menjadi witty dan penuh dengan sarkasme khas Pink. Awesome!
Selebihnya, walaupun track ini hanya mampu mentok di nomor 9 chart US Billboard lantas tidak membuatnya terengah-engah. Di negara lain dia mampu menjadi nomor 1 dan menjadi airplay radio dimana-mana. Rasanya kemunculan album The Truth About Love hanya menunggu waktu saja. Apa kejutan yang lain? Well, kalau dibagian awal sudah ditawari hal menarik seperti ini, siapa yang sanggup menghentikan Pink?
