Setelah termehek-mehek dengan 'Cannonball', berkeprok-keprok dengan 'Wings', kini saatnya kita tergugah lewat 'Change Your Life' bersama Little Mix. Ini adalah single terbaru yang mereka hadirkan masih dari album "DNA". Keempat cewek Little Mix terlibat dalam penulisan lagu ini, bersama maestro di bidangnya, Richard Stannard, Tim Powell, dan Ash Howes.
Bisa dibilang dalam 'Change Your Life' Leigh-Ann, Perrie, Jesy, dan Jade curhat mengenai revolusi yang terjadi pada diri mereka: dari gadis biasa menjadi popstar. Dan dalam perjalanan tersebut, mereka tak hanya memikirkan diri sendiri, tapi juga sekitar. Sehingga apa yang terjalin dalam liriknya juga merembes ke keadaan pendengar. Ini sangat menarik, karena ketika orang-orang meneriakkan "Be Yourself", Little Mix justru menuntun ke arah perubahan. Secara lirik, boleh jadi tampilan tersebut adalah pemberdayaan lanjutan dari 'Wings'. Mereka terus meracuni pikiran pendengar dengan kata-kata yang lebih dari sekedar penghiburan. Sedikit menggeser segi vokal dan musik dari ulasan.
Yang baru dalam 'Change Your Life' adalah verse yang dibawakan seperti narasi, sedikit menyenggol tekhnik rap. Mempertontonkan aksen British yang kental dan berpotensi menuai kritik jika dibawa ke tanah di luar Eropa. Tapi masih ada kemungkinan juga kalau hal tersebut justru bisa membuat angka ketertarikan terhdapnya meningkat. Selebihnya, untuk urusan vokal, single berdurasi 3 menit 21 detik ini menunjukkan kualitas kelas A, selayaknya act yang memang produk dari talent show menyanyi. Pengelompokkan musik Little Mix dalam pop dan R&B untuk 'Change Your Life' rasanya tak cukup. Karena dalam pencetakannya, lagu ini juga memiliki pengaruh rock yang lumayan berasa. Makanya, jempol demi jempol semakin banyak tertuju pada penampilan girlband ini.
