Muda dan ceria, The Vamps merupakan gerombolan anak muda dengan sifat demikian. Setelah mengemas apik karya musik mereka dalam album perdana "Meet The Vamps", berikutnya adalah merilis single ketiga 'Last Night' guna memperluas pengenalan masyarakat akan keberadaan mereka. Tune pop rock yang catchy ini merupakan karya revolusioner daro Wayne Hector bersama tim TMS. Pasalnya, kedua nama tersebut dibesarkan dalam naungan pop. Bermain di arena baru dengan artis baru tergolong berisiko. Berhubung belum ada pagar yang membatasi warna musik The Vamps, 'Last Night' masih merupakan sarana aktualisasi diri yang masih dalam jangkauan.
Kreativitas yang didukung dengan kemampuan untuk mewujudkannya merupakan kualitas yang The Vamps miliki. Peranan mereka dalam eksekusi musik untuk lagu ini, ditambah keterlibatan emosional salah seorang personel terhadap kandungan lirik lagu lebih dari cukup untuk menentukan besaran andil keempat cowok ini dalam 'Last Night'. Tapi, kedua hal ini justru kontas dalam terjemahan respon pendengar. Tak sedikitpun lagu berdurasi 3 menit 17 detik ini hadir untuk menggugah perasaan. Musik yang fun dan enerjik justru menyeret pendengar untuk hanyut dalam melodinya, dan mengartikan lagu ini dalam tema "seize the moment".
There it is. 'Last Night' adalah pelajaran spiritual kepada kaum muda untuk selalu 100%. Dengan demikian, tidak ada penyesalan di akhir cerita. So, dance until you die! Don't go home tonight! Cause when tomorrow never come, we already had last night!
