Dalam perhelatan 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards yang berlangsung di Atlanta, pada Selasa malam, 13 Oktober, Kendrick Lamar dan Big Sean mendominasi peraihan piala dengan masing-masing membawa 3 piala, meski mungkin pemenang utamanya adalah Lamar yang berhasil menyabet penghargaan prestesius, Best Hip Hip Video, Lyricist of the Year dan Impact Track.
Sedang Big Sean mengantongi piala untuk People's Champ Award, Best Collabo Duo or Group, dan Best Club Banger. Meski begitu, Album of the Year jatuh kepada J. Cole berkat album tahun 2014-nya, "Forest Hills Drive". Dan salah hits raksasa tahun ini, 'Trap Queen' dari Fenty Wap, terpilih sebagai Track of the Year.
