Daftar Pemenang 58th Grammy Awards 2016

Inilah alasan kenapa Grammy Awards yang memasuki tahun ke-58 ini digelar pada hari Senin (15 Februari), waktu Amerika, bukan di hari Minggu seperti biasanya. Di Amerika, tanggal 15 Februari adalah President's Day, sehingga disana ada long weekend, dan pihak Grammy memutuskan untuk menyelanggarakan di hari Senin (Selasa waktu Indonesia).

Sebelum acara Grammy Awards yang sesungguhnya digelar, ada 'pre-telecast' yang tidak disiarkan secara live. Acara ini diadakan di Microsoft Theater, yang juga bersebelahan dengan Staples Center tempat diadakannya Grammy Awards. Di acara 'pre-telecast' ini banyak sekali pemenang Grammy yang sudah diumumkan, dan tentunya kategori yang bergengsi nantinya akan disiarakan secara langsung.

Host tahun ini masih dipegang oleh LL Cool J, yang sudah menjadi host selama 5 tahun berturut-turut. Rapper Kendrick Lamar, mendapatkan nominasi terbanyak yaitu 11 nominasi (mengalahkan Eminem sebagai rapper dengan nominasi terbanyak, dan yang megang rekor terbanyak adalah Michael Jackson dengan 12 nominasi di tahun 1984). Selanjutnya, Taylor Swift dan The Weeknd masing-masing mendapatkan 7 nominasi.
