Bukan kali pertama Little Mix meremix ulang track dalam album mereka dengan cara melibatkan seorang rapper, guna dirilis menjadi sebuah single. Sebelumnya, Perrie dkk mengajak serta Missy Elliott dalam perilisan single 'How Ya Doin'?' dari sampul album perdana mereka, "DNA". Sekarang ini, Sean Paul-lah yang dibawa-bawa untuk memberi sentuhan dalam rap olehnya untuk lagu dancepop berjudul 'Hair'. Kehadiran Sean jelas mengangkat kisah putus cinta dalam lagu ini ke level berikutnya. Ia mengambil peran sebagai cowok yang disebut-sebut sebagai "d*ck" dalam lirik bagian chorus lagu ini.

Engine started with Sean's rap, followed by Leigh-Anne's verse which opened up the wound of her broken heart. Sudah barang tentu, Jade, Perrie, dan Jesy come to rescue. Terapi "rambut" adalah pilihan mereka untuk mengatasi situasi percintaan tersebut. Dan ketika Sean mulai kembali dengan ceramah permintaan maafnya di bagian bridge yang dikhususkan dalam versi remix ini, Jade mengeluarkan saran pamungkasnya, yakni menyudahi komunikasi dengan si mantan, dan kembali pada terapi rambut sebagai jurus move on yang jitu.

Kompleksitas lirik berefek pada kesan komunikatif yang sangat kuat dalam lagu ini. Nyaris tak tersisa moment musik yang kosong tanpa lirik di lagu yang berdurasi 4 menit kurang 7 detik ini. Penambahan durasi merupakan akibat dari bridge khusus yang diberikan kepada Sean. Semua aspek yang terkandung dalam single ini mendukungnya untuk menjadi lagu LM lain yang bertipe crowd pleaser.
