Siapa yang tak mengenal 'Where Is The Love', sebuah lagu milik Black Eyed Peas rilisan 2003 yang sukses menjadi salah satu hits terbesar tahun itu yang kepopulerannya rasa-rasanya masih betah bertahan sampai sekarang.
Nah, sekarang BEP mendaur ulang hits mereka ini sebagai single amal untuk mengumpulkan uang bagi korban kebrutalan polisi ataupun petugas yang tertembak di Dallas. Versi baru dari 'Where Is The Love' dirilis pada Rabu, 31 Agustus 2016.
Sebagai tambahan dari will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo dan Stacy Ferguson, musik videonya juga akan menampilkan barisan cameo dari banyak bintang kenamaan seperti Usher, Jaden Smith, P. Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, Nicole Scherzinger, The Game, Jessie J, Andra Day, Tori Kelly, Ty Dolla $ign, DJ Khaled, A$AP Rocky dan Justin Timberlake, yang sebelumnya tampil sebagai featuring artist untuk versi orisinalnya.
"Everyone was calling on us. Like, 'We need that song again,'" ungkap will.i.am kepada ATTN, "Millennials are powerful. I don't think they realize just how powerful they are...I hope this song inspires the millennials to go all out, scream from the tallest mountain, care like your freedom depends on it. Pay attention like that is at risk."
