James Arthur dan Simon Cowell tampaknya telah berdamai, setelah beberapa tahun lalu ia dilepas dari label milik Cowell, Syco, sebagai akibat komentar bernada homofobia yang dilemparkannya kepada rapper Micky Worthless.
Namun kini Arthur kembali ke spotlight berkat single comebacknya, 'Say You Won't Let Go', yang sukses merajai iTunes. Dan mungkin oleh karena itu akhirnya sang mantan pemenang X-Factor ini pun kembali dipeluk oleh Syco, sebagaimana yang diungkap juru bicara label ini kepada The Sun, "We can confirm that James Arthur is now once again signed to Syco Music in the UK. We are delighted to welcome him back into the Syco fold."
Selepas dari Syco, Arthur mencoba untuk menyusun kembali karirnya dengan bergabung bersama Sony German dan meluncurkan single 'Say You Won't Let Go' dan mencoba untuk merehabilitasi reputasi dirinya.
"I suffered with the pressure," aku Arthur kepada This Morning di Jumat, 16 September. "I wasn't prepared for scrutiny and attention. It felt super quick. I pressed the self-destruct button. I didn't realise the repercussions and the devastation my behaviour would cause. My character behaviour, I was a very embarrassed by - it's tough to look back on the adversities that followed my actions. I buckled under the pressure."
Album baru Arthur, "Back from the Edge" akan dirilis pada tanggal 4 November. Dan kita doakan saja semoga hubungannya bersama Syco tetap awet ke depannya.
