Di pekan ke-10-nya, tepatnya pada edisi tanggal 15 April, 'Shape of You' milik Ed Sheeran masih betah menjadi juara Billboard Hot 100. Dengan demikian single ini bergabung dalam sebuah klub elit yang hanya berisi sekitar 3% dari total juara Hot 100 yang sukses menghuni posisi puncak selama 10 pekan atau lebih dalam 58 tahun sejarahnya.
Dengan demikian 'Shape of You' bergabung bersama hits single lain seperti 'One Dance' Drake, 'Hello' Adele', 'We Found Love' Calvin Harris dan Rihanna, atau 'Irreplaceable' Beyonce. Jika pekan depan 'Shape of You' masih betah berada di posisi 1, maka ia akan bergabung dengaan nama-nama seperti 'Independent Woman, Part 1" Destiny's Child atau 'I Swear' All-4-One.
Akan lebih hebat lagi jika bisa menyusul 'Closer' The Chainsmokers dan Halsey atau 'See You Again' milik Wiz Khalifa dan Charlie Puth yang menjadi juara selama 12 pekan. Lantas, lagu apakah yang bertahan menjadi juara terlama? Ternyata adalah kolaborasi Mariah Carey dan Boyz II Men dalam 'One Sweet Day' yang secara luar biasa menjadi #1 Hot 100 selama 16 pekan di tahun 1995. Sebuah prestasi yang mungkin sulit dipecahkan, mengingat ia masih bertahan selama dua dekade lebih.
