Total nominasi Olivia adalah 7, dengan termasuk kategori Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year dan Best Music Video.

Meski begitu, pemenang piala utama, Record of the Year, untuk tahun ini jatuh kepada duo musisi Anderson .Paak dan Bruno Mars yang tergabung dalam Silk Sonic berbakat lagu 'Leave The Door Open'. Berkat lagu yang sama, Silk Sonic juga menyabet piala Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance (seri bersama 'Pick Up Your Feelings' milik Jazmine Sullivan), dan Best R&B Song, yang demikian berarti Silk Sonic menyapu bersih piala dari 4 nominasi yang mereka terima.

Sedang Album of the Year diberikan kepada musisi yang sudah menyabet Oscar, Jon Batiste, berkat album "We Are."
