Alicia Keys kembali lagi. Sepertinya penghujung tahun ini dipilih para diva untuk meluncurkan single dan album terbaru mereka termasuk Ms. Keys. ‘Doesn’t Mean Anyhting’ adalah single terbaru yang dirilis secara terbatas pada tanggal 22 September 2009 melalui gerai dunia maya, iTunes.
Sebagai pemanasan untuk peluncuran album studio ke empatnya, sebagai teaser, tidak salah Alicia Keys melepas ‘Doesn’t Mean Anything’. Single ini tetap menawarkan kekuatan serta versatilitas vokal Keys, disamping lirik serta balutan komposisi lagu yang menyentuh.
Meski terkadang mengingatkan akan ‘No One’, akan tetapi single ini mempunyai kegemilangannya sendiri. Bercerita dengan sangat ekspresif, sehingga kita dengan gampang menyukai alunan tembang dan olah vokal Keys dalam lagu ini.
