Single “This Is It” ini diambil dari album kompilasi terbaru yang juga merupakan soundtrack film dokumenter milik Michael Jackson yang berjudul sama, “This Is It”. Sejak tgl 12 Okt lalu, single ini sudah di dapat di streaming melalui official websitenya.
Penulis lagu ini tak lain adalah Michael Jackson sendiri bareng Paul Anka di tahun 1983 lalu, yang seharusnya masuk di album duet Paul Anka “Walk a Fine Line” tapi dengan judul dan lirik yang berbeda. Tapi karena adanya konflik akhirnya, Michael Jackson membawa kopi rekaman ini dan akhirnya ditemukan dan berisikan vocal Michael Jackson dengan piano saja. So, sebagai finishing terakhir, penambahan string, perkusi dan juga backing vocal dari saudara2 Michael ditambahkan dan jadilah single “This Is It” ini…
