Setuju dengan ai yang berpendapat kalau Honor Society mirip dengan jonas brother versi halus. Persepsi ini mungkin terjadi karena mereka berada di bawah naungan jonas brother. Jadi JB mencari yang talent-talent muda yang mempunyai musik yang mirip dengan tiga bersaudara itu. Sama seperti JT yang menggandeng esmee denters atau Jay-Z dengan rihanna.
Cukup mengagumkan debut album mereka menduduki peringkat 18 di Billboard. Single pertama mereka “where are you now” merupakan single ballad yang biasa-biasa saja! Tapi liriknya luar biasa! Haha. Kenapa? Musik mereka adalah standar ‘boyband’ yang di suruh main band. Can you imagine BSB in band formation? Mellow-mellow dengan tempo slow. Jelaslah, band ini diprioritaskan untuk para remaja wanita!
Intro pembuka lagunya mirip teriakan kaka slank! Haha seriously! Mengira akan mendengarkan lagu dengan genre rock akibat teriakan itu. Ternyata salah! Cukup terenyuh dengan suara sang vokalis yang soft, termasuk lagu yang easy listening dan save karena bermain di jalur mainstream. Lagu yang juga menjadi Ost. Bandslam punya kekuatan lirik yang kuat. Sederhana namun mengena jika ingin mengingat masa lalu. Liriknya menggelitik kenangan-kenangan kita tentang guru kita, bekas teman baik kita, dan bahkan untuk cinta pertama di SD! Membuat kita bergumam “iya yah,mereka sekarang dimana?”.
