This is it! Malam terakhir buat para cewek untuk memastikan diri mereka masuk ke deretan AI9 Top 12 Finalist! Simak penampilan mereka kali ini, dan tentunya dgn komentar dari para juri RJ (Randy Jackson), ED (Ellen DeGeneres), KD (Kara DioGuardi), SC (Simon Cowell), CD (CreativeDisc), AI (Ai Hasibuan).
1. Katie Stevens - Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson
RJ: It paled into comparison.. like karaoke. Didn’t work for me.
ED: I didn’t feel those words… I didn’t see personality.
KD: I don’t think you know who you are yet as an artist…. you do have that talent…you need that experience
SC: I think this has been very confusing for you, I think your issue is, you haven’t worked out the kind of artist you are…you kind of sucked the energy out of it.. I got to give you 10 out of 10 for trying.
CD: Err.. Vocal Katie gak pas buat bawain lagu ini, dan di minggu ketiganya dia tampil kayaknya dia belum bisa menentukan genre yg pas buat vocalnya. (6/10)
AI: She can sing, tapi bukan lagu Breakaway. Usaha untuk terdengar lebih 'kini' justru berbuah 'was-was' di result untuk Top 12 nanti. (6/10)
2. Siobhan Magnus - House of the Rising Sun by The Animals
RJ: That was different. Dude I love what you do. I don’t think you listen to us at all. Keep doing that cause it’s HOT!
ED: You are why I love music. I was captivated. You’re spectacular.
KD: I love the acapella vibe at the front. You are so unique and different. You’re doing great.
SC: I wasn’t quite such a fan of that. It was all a bit weird. I was under impressed. It was a bit boring, a bit dark.
CD: Penampilannya cukup aman, kalo yg minggu lalu bener2 ngagetin... kali ini biasa banget. Tapi pastinya dia mendapat tiket utk ke Top 12 AI9l! (7/10)
AI: Siobhan is damn smart! Dia keluarkan 110% yang dia punya dan hasilnya adalah penampilan bernilai A! (9/10)
3. Lacey Brown - The Story by Brandi Carlisle
RJ: The song was a little boring, but this is the best performance in a long time. Very cool.
ED: It’s your best performance to date. Perfect song choice.
KD: Performances like this are why you got here. Brilliant choice and you are back on your path.
SC: I didn’t love love the song but you sang it really well. It feels like you’ve been doing this for a long time. I still have heard the right song connection, yet.
CD: Akhirnya Lacey bisa membuktikan bahwa dia layak masuk ke Top 12! Performance terbaik dia.. (7/10)
AI: Masih ada kesempatan untuk Lacey masuk ke 12 besar dan penampilannya semakin membaik. (7/10)
4. Katelyn Epperly - I Feel The Earth Move by Carole King
RJ: It’s a great song but I just didn’t feel the connection or the vibe. There was nothing special about it.
ED: I don’t know that that was the song to choose to wow people. It just wasn’t enough.
KD: I didn’t feel like you were competing. I just felt like you weren’t even playing.
SC: I like your hair. It was kind of like request night on a Friday night in a restaurant. You chose quite a simple song and didn’t do anything special with it.
CD: I don't feel the earth moving with her song... (6/10)
AI: I adore this girl, meskipun penampilannya pas-pasan dan diragukan untuk lolos ke 12 besar, aku masih berharap untuknya. (7/10)
5. Didi Benami - Rhiannon by Fleetwood Mac
RJ: It was definitely a whole lot better than last week. I’m not sure there was a wow moment in it. I don’t know if it was the best that you can do.
ED: To that I say, Yes indeedy, Didi. I thought it was a lovely performance. I like what you did with it. Good job.
KD: One of my favorite moments of the show so far this season.
SC: Didi, I have to agree with Kara. I thought that was head and shoulders above anything else we’ve heard tonight. The wow moment was the whole performance. Brilliant choice of song.
CD: Akhirnya Didi tampil bagus! Dengan pilihan lagu yang tidak generik dan berhasil dibawakan dengan gayanya sendiri! (8/10)
AI: Cantik dan kharismatik. Menarik dan asyik. Rhiannon memuluskan jalan Didi melaju ke 12 besar! (8/10)
6. Paige Miles - Smile by Charlie Chaplin
RJ: It just didn’t work, man. It went completely flat.
ED: That song is supposed to be uplifting and instead if was sad and heavy. This is the time to shine.
KD: It was all wrong. Tonight was not the night to do that.
SC: It was just a horrible choice of song. The arrangement was just awful. It’s such a shame because you’ve got so much potential. You have no idea what kind of artist you are.
CD: Kacau! Ritme yang tak terkendali... vocal yang gemetaran.. jadi inget kayak Haeley minggu lalu. parah! (3/10)
AI: Eliminated alert #3. Untuk penampilannya saja, Paige seperti menyanyikan lagu ini sehabis dieliminasi. Suara dan musiknya seperti kejar-kejaran. (5/10)
7. Crystal Bowersox - Gimme One Reason by Tracy Chapman
RJ: Listen man! This is what the show is about for me. I’m a fan. That was hot!
ED: Best performance of the night!
KD: This is what we are talking about when people know who they are. You just know what to do. Great song choice.
SC: You are one million billion percent going to be in the top 12 next week. You’ve got confidence. You are the one everyone else has to beat. It’s yours to lose.
CD: Mestinya Crystal tampil sebagai penutup nih! Karena bagus banget! 3 minggu penampilannya tidak ada yg mengecewakan! (8/10)
AI: Pasti lolos. Mustahil untuk Crystal enggak masuk 12 besar dengan penampilannya yang otentik dan effortless! (8/10)
8. Lilly Scott - I Fall To Pieces by Patsy Cline
RJ: Yo, love the mandolin, love that song. I think it was hot tonight. You’re in the zone.
ED: Love your voice. Love your originality. Love your style.
KD: I don’t know how you did it, but you made Patsy Cline feel current. SC: I think you are brave choosing that song on a night like this. What it didn’t have, that didn’t have the wow factor. It was cute, it was quirky. That could have been a risky thing to do.
CD: Lilly cukup unik... sayang penampilannya tidak pernah "WoW" (6/10)
AI: Saat semua keluar dari kotak di penampilan terakhir semi-final, Lilly justru bermain aman. I like her, tapi aku juga khawatir kalau-kalau ini bisa membuatnya tersisih. (6/10)
