Jennifer Lopez is back on track! Meskipun akhir tahun 2009 dia terkatung-katung untuk ‘Louboutins’, tapi enggak akan terjadi lagi. ‘On The Floor‘ adalah persembahan heboh dari sexy Latina ini. Dan dia memboyong RedOne untuk memproduksi lagu tersebut, beserta Pitbull sebagai pemacu hit khusus dancefloor ini. Berpindah label dan menyegerakan perilisan “Love?” adalah keinginan terbesarnya saat ini. Dan untuk itu, pemanasan yang benar-benar jitu!
Lagu ini mengambil sample dari hit 1989, ‘Lambada’ oleh Kaoma, juga lagu disco milik Los Kjarkas ‘Lorando Se Fue’. Perpaduan yang apik dan tak disangsikan kenikmatan rhythm yang tersedia. Seperti kembali ke zaman J.Lo dengan lagu hit dancefloor serupa, ‘Waiting For Tonight’ atau ‘Play’. Yang ini terangkat ke level yang lebih berhubung campur tangan today’s most popular dance music producer, RedOne juga party firework performer Pitbull.
Ditilik dari liriknya, agaknya lagu ini memang disengaja untuk berkompetisi dengan party people lainnya yang sedang populer saat ini. Rihanna (hard), Lady Gaga (party freak), atau Ke$ha (animal). Lirik-lirik tersebut seolah refer ke masing-masing performer, dan selesaikan persaingan on the floor tentunya.
Def Jam Records akan merilis album ke-7 Jennifer pada musim panas tahun ini. Dan jika dilihat dari perkembangan materi yang akan mengisi album “Love?” ini, si cantik juri American Idol tersebut benar-benar siap tempur untuk memenangkan kembali music chart battle. Selain dirinya yang reuni lagi dengan Darkchild, ada juga Danja, Tricky Stewart, The Dream, David Guetta, Jim Jonsin, Stargate, The Neptunes, dan Amanda Ghost sebagai produser album. Persaingan panas tak akan terhindarkan, dan semoga ‘On The Floor’ menggebrak! Amin!
