Come Get It Bae merupakan single ketiga yang dirilis Pharrell Williams untuk album sophomore-nya, Girl. Dan di single ini ia tidak sendiri, karena ada nama Miley Cyrus yang membantunya. Kenapa ia memerlukan Cyrus? Karena lagu ini membicarakan hubungan laki-laki dan perempuan dalam konteks seksual.

Jangan membayangkan lagu akan dipenuhi dengan lirik-lirik vulgar. Justru cerdasnya Pharrell adalah saat ia membungkus aspek tematis lagunya dengan memakai metafora......sepeda motor. Dengan lirik seperti "You wanna ride it, my motorcycle / You've got a license, but you got the right to / Gonna pop a wheelie, don't try too high too / Take it easy on the clutch, cause girl I like you," jelas Pharrell memang berniat memakai kata bersayap.

Terlepas dari aspek tematis atau lirik, mari kita bicarakan lagunya dari sisi musikal. Di sini Pharrell masih percaya dengan kekuatan funk dan itu dibuktikan dengan pemakaian notasi yang funky (tentu saja). Tapi dengan kehadiran Miley Cyrus, single ini terdengar lebih centil dibandingkan lagu-lagu Pharrell biasanya. Tapi tetap, tentu saja, masih terdengar sangat Pharrell-esque sekali.

Meski sebenarnya bisa disebutkan Cyrus hanya untuk memberi penekanan pada bagian bridge, akan tetapi kerjasama mereka cukup kompak dalam membawakan lagunya.
