Selamat untuk Daddy Yankee! Sang penyanyi yang berkolaborasi bersama Luis Fonsi dan Justin Bieber dalam 'Despacito' merupakan pemenang terbesar di perhelatan Billboard Latin Music Awards 2018 yang berlangsung di andalay Bay Events Center, Las Vegas, Kamis malam, 26 April.
Lagu paling hits di sepanjang 2017 lalu itu membawa pulang 6 piala, termasuk Hot Latin Song of the Year, Vocal Event, dan Latin Pop Song of the Year. Sedangkan Daddy Yankee sukses mendominasi daftar pemenang dengan 8 piala, yang disusul dengan Luis Fonsi dan Justin Bieber yang masing-masing membawa pulang 7 piala. Sementara itu Ozuna menyabet piala Artist of the Year.
Pemenang utama lain malam itu adalah Maluma yang mendapatkan piala Social Artist of the Year, dan Shakira, yang meraih 5 piala antara lain untuk Latin Pop Artist of the Year, Solo dan Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Female.
