Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey dan juga YUNGBLUD, tercatat sebagai para pemenang NME Awards 2020 yang berlangsung di London, Rabu malam, 12 Februari.
Sang ratu Grammy, Billie, mendapatkan piala Best Song in the World berkat 'Bad Guy', sementara album "Norman F**king Rockwell" milik Lana terpilih sebagai Best Album in the World. Sedang YUNGBLUD mendapatkan piala Best Music Video berkat 'Original Me'.
Sementara itu, Taylor Swift, yang memenangkan Best Solo in the World, memberi kejutan dengan hadir langsung untuk menerima pialanya. Dengan memegang piala jari tengahnya dan segelas anggur, ia bahkan menyempatkan menceletukkan candaan tentang penonton acaranya.
Terakhir kali Taylor memenangkan NEW Award adalah di tahun 2016 lalu (dan ia mengirim video untuk pidato kemenangannya). Tahun ini ia menerima pialanya dari Robyn, yang mendapatkan piala Songwriter of the Decade.
