Kerjasama dengan Maegan Cottone dan Nathan Duvall pun bukan hanya berarti beda dalam skala LM, tapi juga bagi gaya musik R&B itu sendiri.
It's somewhere between smooth and sexy R&B with the dance drop one. Ada keriuhan sekaligus moment yang intimate. Pergerakan ke dua arah itu yang menciptakan nuansa perombakan, second breakout moment bagi LM setelah sukses menghentak dunia dengan 'Wings'. Ada beat yang menggemparkan sekaligus beat yang sensual. It's weird, but it's true.
"Don't you get comfortable" itu pesan yang LM ujarkan di baris-baris awal chorus. Mereka tak ingin orang terkecoh akan ritme yang menjorok ke santai di bagian verse, karena bagian selanjutnya adalah kejadian yang sebaliknya. Perilisannya yang mendahului Natal pun tampak disengaja untuk merujuk pada lirik "Like Christmas come early".
Saya tak bisa memastikan sasaran yang LM inginkan dengan single ini. Meskipun ada pernyataan dari mereka untuk mendewasakan diri di rekaman selanjutnya, mereka masih dibutuhkan bagi para remaja sebagai kiblat musik yang pantas dengan usia muda. Jika mereka hendak melakukan peralihan, semoga ada transisi, supaya kita tak sepenuhnya merasa canggung dengan LM yang baru.
