The Offspring Menjual Hak Untuk Musik Mereka Dengan Nilai Menggiurkan, $35 Juta

Band rock punk yang beken di era 90-an, The Offspring, baru-baru ini telah menjual hak akan musik mereka dengan nilai yang cukup besar, $35 juta!

Band yang ngehits berkat single seperti 'Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)' dan telah merilis sebanyak 9 album ini menjual hak musik mereka kepada penerbit asal New York, Round Hill Music.

Billboard melaporkan jika deal ini mencakup rekaman yang dirilis oleh Columbia Records, yang diantaranya adalah album-album Top 10, seperti "Americana" dan "Conspiracy of One".

"We felt that having the right caretaker for our catalogue, both the masters and the publishing, is incredibly important to the future of our career," kata Dexter Holland dari The Offspring dalam pernyataanya.

"Round Hill understands that we are continuing to perform and record and that the visibility of our past is critical to our future,"? terangnya lebih lanjut.

Album terakhir The Offspring adalah "Days Go By" yang dirilis di tahun 2012.
