Sabet 9 Nominasi, Beyoncé Catatkan Sejarah Di Grammy Awards 2021

Beyoncé Knowles berkilau di ajang Grammy Awards ke-63 yang akan berlangsung di tahun 2021 mendatang. Dari daftar nominasi yang baru saja dilepas, sang Diva Pop menyabet 9 buah nominasi, termasuk dua di kategori utama, Record of the Year.

'Black Parade' dan 'Savage Remix' bersama Megan Thee Stallion memberikan Bey dua tempat di kategori prestisius tadi. 'Savage' sendiri juga akan bersaing untuk kategori Song of the Year, selain Best Rap Performance dan Best Rap Song.

"Black Is King", mitra untuk album "The Lion King: The Gift" - yang merupakan soundtrack untuk remake "The Lion King," meraih nominasi di kategori Best Music Film, sedang track 'Brown Skin Girl' siap bersaing memperebutkan gelar Best Music Video.

Dengan tambahan 9 buah nominasi, maka Bey mencatatkan sejarah sebagai artis perempuan dengan jumlah nominasi terbanyak di sejarah Grammy, yaitu total 79 buah nominasi dengan 24 di antaranya dimenangkan oleh dirinya.

Bey menjadi artis dengan jumlah nominasi terbanyak kedua, bersanding dengan Sir Paul McCartney. Dua artis ikonik ini berada di bawah sang suami Bey, Jay-Z, dan juga Quincy Jones, yang masing-masing mendapat total 80 nominasi.
