Lana Del Rey mengungkapkan bahwa album keduanya akan lebih spiritual dari album debutnya. sekarang ini, Lana sedang mengerjakan album keduanya setelah Born To Die di tahun 2012 kemarin. Album keduanya ini akan lebih sederhana dari Born To Die, tetapi tetap memunculkan keunggulannya. "It's a little more stripped down but still cinematic and dark. I've been writing in Santa Monica and I know what the record sounds like. Now i just have to finish it. Musically, I've worked with the same three guys." Lana Del Rey juga menambahkan kalau dia sudah memiliki konsep untuk music videonya. "For some reasons the videos are still the easiest things to come. As soon as i write the words to a song, I can paint exactly what I want the picture to look like". Can't wait for her next album!

British singer-songwriter, Ed Sheeran mengatakan bahwa ia telah menulis satu lagu, "Photograph", yang menurutnya akan mengubah karirnya. Saat ini, Ed Sheeran sedang menulis lagu untuk album selanjutnya setelah "+". Dan menurutnya, Photograph ini adalah lagu terbaik yang pernah dia tulis selama ini. Ed juga mengungkapkan bahwa dia sedang bekerja sama dengan Lupe Fiasco saat mereka berada di Amerika. Di Grammy Awards kemarin, Ed sempat kehilangan mobile phonenya yang berisi beberapa lagu untuk album barunya. Namun, ternyata tertinggal di mobil dan dikembalikan kepadanya.

Di saat lain, No Doubt menunda turnya di tahun ini. Tur ini ditunda karena No Doubt akan fokus untuk pembuatan album terbarunya. Pengumuman ini disampaikan di halaman resmi Facebook milik No Doubt. Berikut pernyataan dari No Doubt, "While we were travelling the world last year promoting Push And Shove, Gwen mentioned she was inspired to write new music. In December, around the time or ouf hometown shows, we discussed the idea of starting 2013 by getting back into the studio together. We did so in January and the new music started flowing with unexpected ease. After spending three years recording the last album, this new pace feels incredibly exciting. We have decided to follow our muse for the time being and focus on this new music that we don't want to stop. So, we will be postponing our tour plans briefly while we endeavor to create something special and inspired. Our goal as a band is to share this new music with you as quickly as possible - both recorded and live on tour."

Justin Timberlake telah mengkonfirmasi bahwa dia akan melakukan kolaborasi dengan frontman Mumford & Sons, Marcus Mumford. Mereka telah merekam sebuah lagu untuk soundtrack film Coen Brothers, "Inside Llewyn Davis", dimana Justin Timberlake dan istri Marcus, Carey Mulligan, juga ikut main di dalamnya. "Marcus dan myself, we all kind of worked on the music together and I don't know any other world where we would get the opportunity to collaborate like that but it was so much fun. Not only will that be a great movie, but the music to it will be fantastic.", jelasnya kepada Capital FM.

Conor Maynard mengatakan bahwa album keduanya akan lebih matang. Conor ingin album selanjutnya ini sedikit lebih intim dan dengan versi akustik, untuk lebih menunjukkan kemampuan vokalnya. "Touring has given me new experiences to write about. 'Contrast' was about girls. This will be about how my life has changed - both the cool and horrible ways", jelasnya kepada Daily Star. Conor juga mengatakan ia ingin bekerja sama dengan beberapa singer-songwriter seperti Ed Sheeran atau John Mayer.

Sedangkan, Harry Styles di hari Selasa kemarin terkena lemparan sepatu dari salah satu Directioners saat mengadakan konser di Glasgow. Namun, Harry telah menerima permintaan maaf dari Jade Anderson, seorang directioner yang telah melemparnya itu lewat twitter pribadinya. Dan memaafkannya. Bahkan, Harry mengizinkannya untuk datang di hari ke-3 konser One Direction setelah sebelumnya Jade dilarang oleh polisi untuk datang. Jade Anderson, directioners yang melemparnya dengan sepatu mengatakan,"I just wanted him to touch something belonging to me. I didn’t mean to hit him where I hit him, I’m really embarrassed.", saat diwawancarai Scottish Daily Records. Di lain berita, Harry Styles mendapat NME Villain of the Year, dan One Direction lagi-lagi mendapat Worst Band versi NME di tahun keduanya.
