Perhelatan Music Awards kali ini diadakan oleh Radio Disney di Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles yang telah berlangsung tgl 26 April dengan penampilan dari Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone, Becky G, Fifth Harmony, R5 dan Zendaya. Acara ini juga dihadiri oleh beberapa selebriti lain seperti Cody Simpson, Gigi Hadid, Lucy Hale, Julianne Hough, Emily Osment, Ava Sambora dan Richie Sambora.
Acara ini akan tayang di Disney Channel esok harinya, dan juga ditayangkan di Disney Channel on Demand tgl 2 Mei, dan bisa di streaming di Disney.com atau radiodisney.com mulai tanggal 5 Mei. Para pemenangnya dipilih berdasarkan vote yang masuk di website Radio Disney.
