Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez dan Ellie Goulding adalah beberapa nama besar yang menyumbangkan vokal mereka di "Finding Neverland: The Album", sebuah album yang menjadi sisipan untuk pertunjukan drama musikal Broadway yang dibuka bulan lalu.
Selain mereka, terdapat juga nama-nama seperti Nick Jonas, John Legend, Rita Ora, Trey Songz, dan Zendaya yang memeriahkan dengan menyanyikan soundtracknya.
"Finding Neverland" adalah sebuah drama panggung musikal yang musik dan liriknya ditulis oleh Gary Barlow dan Eliot Kennedy, berdasarkan buku oleh James Graham. Buku yang sama yang menjadi inpirasi film berjudul sama rilisan tahun 2004 yang dibintangi oleh Johnny Depp dan Kate Winslet.
"It’s about getting a chance to see some of the biggest names of music stepping outside of their normal lane and what we’re used to hearing from them," eksekutif dari Republic Records, Tom McKay, menjelaskan tentang album ini. "In essence, fans of these artists will discover the story and the play in a way they wouldn’t have otherwise, and on the flipside, fans of the play will discover some of these artists in a way they might not have in their daily lives."
