Biggest boyband in the world ini baru saja merilis track terbaru mereka as four piece. Memang terbilang sudah agak lama sejak One Direction merilis single baru. Selepas Zayn Malik keluar dari grup dan mereka sibuk dengan rangkaian konser On The Road Again Tour, One Direction belum merilis single terbaru mereka.
Tapi, penantian itu sudah terbayar! Beberapa jam yang lalu, tepat di tanggal 31 Juli 2015 ini, mereka merilis single terbaru mereka yang berjudul "Drag Me Down". Jujur saya, ketika mendengarkan lagu One Direction terbaru ini, mereka terdengar berbeda. Warna musik mereka di lagu Drag Me Down memang sedikit terasa berbeda dibandingkan Four. Kalau di Four mereka terdengar seperti mengangkat lagi beat 90an, di lagu terbaru ini mereka terdengar lebih kekinian dengan irama musik sedikit terdengar EDM.
Apakah ini jadi gambaran tentang album One Direction kelima yang direncanakan akan rilis akhir tahun ini? Kita tunggu saja kejutan lainnya. FYI, single "Drag Me Down" menjadi single tercepat yang menjadi jawara di iTunes Amerika, dalam waktu 30 menit saja sejak dirilis, mengalahkan rekor sebelumnya yang dipegang Ariana Grande, untuk single "Problem", yang jadi jawara iTunes dalam waktu 37 menit.
