One of the most anticipated tours in 2013 is coming to Singapore, yes, Fall Out Boy is bringing their Save Rock and Roll Tour to Singapore on August 6, 2013 promoted by Live! Empire. The tour has been much anticipated and as evidence by the sold out venues all around the world. Singapore is lucky enough to get the opportunity to watch Fall Out Boy perform again this year after the band last performed in Singapore in February 2009. Fall Out Boy only bringing their Save Rock and Roll Tour to 3 countries in Asia, Singapore, Philippines and Japan so Live! Empire is proud and eager to welcome Fall Out Boy to Singapore.
Fall Out Boy consists of Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley. Fall Out Boy formed in Chicago,2001 and reached mainstream success with their first major label album From Under The Cork Tree which released in 2005. Fall Out Boy won several awards with From Under The Cork Tree and this album also achieved double platinum in US. As the follow up, Fall Out Boy released their third album Infinity On High in 2007 and this album peaked at number 1 US Billboard Album chart and their first single from this album This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race peaked at number 2 Billboard Hot 100. In 2008, Fall Out Boy released their fourth album Folie a Deux which peaked at number 8 US Billboard Album Chart. In late 2009, Fall Out Boy decided to went on indefinite hiatus and during that time, each member pursue their individual music projects. Patrick Stump released their solo album called Soul Punk, Pete Wentz formed a music group with Spencer Peterson called Black Cards, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley formed The Damned Things with members of Anthrax and Every Time I Die. After 4 years of hiatus, on 4 February 2013 Fall Out Boy announced their comeback with their new single My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark and new album Save Rock and Roll released in April 2013.
