Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X Dominasi Daftar Nominasi Grammy Awards 2020

Lizzo, Billie Eilish dan Lil Nas X sukses menjadi pemimpin peraihan daftar nominasi untuk Grammy Awards 2020 yang telah diumumkan di hari Rabu, 20 November kemarin. Meski begitu Lizzo-lah yang mencuri perhatian karena ia mendapat jumlah nominasi terbanyak, yaitu 8 buah nominasi. Menyusul di belakangnya adalah Billie dan Lil Nas X yang masing-masing mendapatkan 6 buah nominasi.

Billie, 17, juga mencatatkan sejarah sebagai artis termuda yang mendapat nominasi di 4 kategori utama Recording Academy, yaitu Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year dan Best New Artist. Lizzo akan berhadapan dengan sang remaja di semua 4 kategori tadi berkat mega hit miliknya, 'Truth Hurts', yang siap menyabet Record dan Song of the Year, bersama dengan 'Bad Guy' milik Billie.

Album-album mereka, "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" dan "I Love You" akan bersaing merebut gelar Album of the Year bersama "I,I" milik Bon Iver, "Norman F**king Rockwell" milik Lana Del Rey, "Thank U, Next" milik Ariana Grande, "I Used to Know Her" milik H.E.R., "7" milik Lil Nas X, dan "Father of the Bride" milik Vampire Weekend.

Sementara itu Lizzo, Lil Nas X dan Billie juga akan memperebutkan piala Best New Artist bersama dengan Black Pumas, Maggie Rogers, Rosalia, Tank and the Bangas, dan Yola.
